Charity Knitting - Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Are you interested in doing some knitting and crocheting for our community? This month we are knitting for Knitted Knockers. They are in short supply of size B cup prosthesis, and we plan to send a shipment to them November 1st. You are welcome to drop by to help or to drop off finished Knitted Knockers.
Knit & Crochet Night, and Knit Saturdays
Wednesdays, 4-8 pm & Saturdays, 10-4pm FREE
Need more time to knit and crochet, or would you like to meet other makers and chat? The large table in the front of our shop is open for social knitting any time the shop is open; we also have these two more organized times each week. Bring your project or choose something new to cast on. No registration required, and it's free!
Finish it up Friday - A very popular event!
Last Friday of every month, 5-10pm $10
You're invited to finish up your project, as well as your month, with us at one of our most popular and fun events. Bring your UFO(s) and a snack to share. We'll play some great music and have a fun activity or surprise for everyone. Please call or message us to let us know you're coming. There is a small fee of $10 for this night out of fun!
Hot Ruby Tasting

Duck Creek Potholder Society
Second Saturday of every month, 10-11:30am $15/month or $75/six months
Come join the Duck Creek Potholder Society! Participate in a class/CAL every second Saturday of the month and crochet a beautiful potholder. Each month there will be a new (and free) pattern that will be taught. Cotton yarn and crochet hooks may be purchased at The Yarn Maven. Basic crochet knowledge is recommended: familiarity with holding the hook and yarn, and the ability to do chain stitch.
