Stash Buster Sale - 2019

The Yarn Maven

Is your yarn stash too big? Do you have yarn that no longer brings you joy? Did you purchase everything you needed for a project and change your mind about making it?

The Stash Buster Sale at The Yarn Maven is for you! We'll sell your unwanted stash, and you can earn a Stash Buster Certificate to spend at The Yarn Maven!

Here are all the things you need to know:

All stash must be submitted in 1 or 2 gallon clear resealable (ziplock) bags. One label (available at The Yarn Maven) per bag. It is best to group your yarns by color, weight, manufacturer or project idea. Yarn does not need to be in full skeins. For example, you might want to put leftover worsted weight wool in a bag, or a sweater's worth of yarn in another bag.

Minimum $5 price per bag. Price the lowest amount with which you are comfortable. Remember, after cleaning out your stash you don't want to cart it all home again, and the better your price, the easier it will be to sell. You receive 50% of value sold in a Stash Buster Certificate back to The Yarn Maven. Certificates expire June 15, 2020.

July 9- 31    Bring in your yarn, books, needles, hooks and knitting notions in 1 or 2 gallon clear resealable (ziplock) bags. Books do not need to be in bags.

August 1 - 24    The Club House will be filled with all the Stash Buster savings.  It will be worth coming in many times to discover what has been added! The Yarn Maven will be open for our regular hours during the sale.

September 3    Unsold stash and Stash Buster Certificates will be ready to pick up.

September 10    All items must be picked up or they will be donated.
